I loved this idea...because sometimes I just love a piece of pattern paper SO much but hesitate to use up a whole sheet as a background. What a waste that would be ;). So I did a sort of scraplift from Marcy's page and love the way it looks. |
I am in love with the new badges I bought from this super cute Etsy shop. I totally recommend them! |

Field Trip.
A page using the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Line from Winter CHA! Love the entire collection!
A small envelope, my fave way to add journaling to a page. Usually my journaling is personal and no one wants to read my personal notes so it's hidden! ;) |

Peekaboo Flowers.
I made this layout at a crop quite awhile ago.
The pictures are from Valentine's Day right before we went out to see The Vow. Gold glitter splatters, pearls, and flowers! |
I added a pocket behind the pictures with some journaling in it + the ticket stubs. |
A detail shot. I love that woodgrain chipboard piece from the Crate Portrait collection!! I layered vellum, white tissue paper, vintage sheet music, vintage lace, a feather, a doily, and a glassine envelope to hold journaling. The diecut flowers are from Pink Paislee's London Market Ephemera. So adorable! |

The Robin's Nest Design Team
My project for The Robin's Nest Design Team! Check out the online store here.
A page that shows my true scrapbooking style :) Everything is layered on a sheet of white Swiss dot cardstock. I included gold glitter splatters (made with my fave glitter, Martha Stewart Smoky Quartz). I typed "perfect together" onto a sheet of vellum using my typewriter, (Yes! You can run vellum through your typewriter!) I cut the vellum to fit my picture, ripped off the top edge for a raw look, then machine stitched it directly onto the photo. I've layered tissue paper, a piece of a doily, a patterned paper strip, flowers fussy cut from Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic Beautiful paper, lace fabric, patterned paper, and a kraft envelope. The border at the bottom of the page is vintage lace that I sewed on. |
Detail of the kraft pocket with journaling card. To make the twine circle I first traced a bowl lightly in pencil, covered the line in glue using a glue pen, then adhered the twine to the glue. The little white pearls were made using my Opal Viva Decor Pearl Pen. |
All the layers...2 of them are lifted with pop dots for depth. |
